Seasonal Parks Maintenance
Under the supervision and direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, performs a variety of routine and skilled maintenance, construction, custodial and repair activities involving parks and recreation buildings and grounds. Also performs general labor and other work as required.
These positions are Temporary, Seasonal, and Non-Exempt with an Hourly Pay Range of $8.50 - $9.50 per hour. The positions will remain open until filled.
Dispatcher/Clerk
Under the direction and general supervision of the On-Duty Police Shift Commander, the Support Services Supervisor, and the Director of Public Safety or his/her designee, receives calls for service, dispatches emergency personnel (police officers and fire fighters) to various locations throughout the Township, accurately performs clerical and recordkeeping functions, and maintains the front desk office and dispatch area in an orderly manner. Relays follow-up and supporting information to Township emergency personnel, working within the specific departmental policies and standard operating procedures.
This position is a Full Time, Non-Exempt, Union (POLC-Dispatch) position with an Annual Salary Range of $33, 238 to $41,657. The position will remain open until filled.
Utilities and Municipal Services Specialist
Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Utilities and Municipal Services (UMS) and UMS Coordinator, position provides administrative support, technical assistance and serves as a team lead to the Department of UMS. Performs independent research, project management and implementation on special projects. Interacts effectively with the public. Oversees and maintains various record systems and provides related data and reports including budget review.
This position is a Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Union (AFSCME) position with an Hourly Pay Range of $17.11/hour to $17.42/hour. The position will remain open until filled.
GIS Technician
Under the supervision of a higher classified employee, coordinates GIS data processing and conversion, develops data models, relational databases, and analysis documents for user departments. Primary duties will include: data management and creation, field work/surveys (primarily for documenting Utilities Infrastructure), provide supportive mapping data and analysis upon request, and other projects related to Township’s GIS (geographic information systems) needs. Fulfills GIS related customer requests and participates in GPS data collection and interpretation. Performs maintenance on existing applications, prepares written documentation for all programs and provides written and verbal operating instructions.
This position is a Full-Time, Exempt, Non-Union position with an Annual Salary Range of $46,089 to $59,917. The position is open until filled.
Utilities and Municipal Services Coordinator/Project Manager
Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Utilities and Municipal Services (UMS), the UMS Coordinator is a technical and administrative position responsible for assigning, coordinating and training staff on administrative functions performed in the department. This position is responsible for independent judgment and action, making decisions in accordance with established policies and practices. This position is also responsible for coordination and communication on matters involving numerous contracts for township projects, departments, residents, business owners, contractors, developer and other outside agencies such as Federal/State/County and other local municipal agencies.
This position is a Full-Time, Exempt, Non-Union position with an Annual Salary Range of $39,884 to $51,849. The position is open until filled.
