Double Up Food Bucks
The Pittsfield Township Farmers Market participates in both the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Double Up Food Bucks Program. The Pittsfield Township Farmers Market also participates in Prescription for Health. Inquire with individual farmers for WIC Project FRESH/CVB or Senior Project FRESH/Market FRESH acceptance. 

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program
Purchase Bridge Card tokens with your EBT card at the Farmers Market information table. Bridge Card wooden tokens have a value of $1 and can be used all season long to purchase eligible items. Look for the SNAP logo on vendor signage to locate eligible vendors.

Double Up Food Bucks Program
SNAP users can stretch food dollars by using Bridge Cards at the Pittsfield Township Farmers Market. The Double Up Food Bucks program provides FREE DUFB tokens, up to $20, every market day. DUFB tokens have a value of $2 each and can be used all season long to buy Michigan grown fruit and vegetables. Prescription for Health - NEW
New this season, Pittsfield Township Farmers Market will be a distribution site for Prescription for Health. Participants receive a "prescription" for fruits and vegetables that may be filled at farmers markets. Prescription for Health program staff provides individualized education about nutrition and offers the patient $10 in tokens each visit. Tokens can be used at the Pittsfield Township Farmers Market to purchase fruits and vegetables. Click here to learn more about Prescription for Health.
