Following Up After an Interview
Follow Up
After the interview, it’s a good idea to write a thank you note to your interviewer(s).  A thoughtful note will demonstrate that you are interested in pursuing the opportunity further.  Here are some ideas of what you might include:
  • Express your appreciation of the interviewer's time and interest
  • Restate your interest in the position and outline the strengths you would bring to the position
  • Explain why you believe you are a strong candidate who will add value to the organization

After the interview, you’ll also want to spend some time evaluating the opportunity. Think about what you’ve learned so far, what the interviewer(s) said, and the answers you received in response to your questions. Determine if the position is the right fit for you!

Follow Through
If you end up getting a job offer - congratulations! Once you’ve succeeded in your job search and landed the job, be sure to maintain the same positive energy you put forth during the interview process and focus on delivering quality work. We hope you will find fulfillment in your new job!
