The Community Development Department works to support the overall mission of the organization by engaging the community, implementing initiatives that increase efficiency, provide clear and concise communications, and enhance the quality of life for residents.

The department's mission is to play a key role in defining a Premier Pittsfield by executing projects and initiatives that support the long term visions of the township.

• Master Plan: provide support and participate in projects that support the vision outlined in the 2020 Vision Master Plan and 2020 Vision Parks & Recreation Master Plan
