On August 12, 2020 the Pittsfield Charter Township Board of Trustees authorized the Ann Arbor-Saline Road Sidewalk Gap Filling Project, located on the north side of Ann Arbor Saline Road between Tiger Lily Drive and Old Falls Drive. In conjunction with the new pathway on the south side of Ann Arbor-Saline Road; there is now a continuous pedestrian connection from Maple Road to Oak Valley Road, Lohr Road, and ultimately over I-94, fully accessible via walking or biking.
