Billing

The Utilities Customer Service Department handles billing for water, sewer, and rubbish, schedules final meter readings, creates service orders, sets up service for new residents, enrolls residents in automatic bill payments, and more.

How to Get Your Bill

We have recently received notification that many residents are experiencing delays in receiving their utilities bill. We have been in communication with the post office who has advised us that they are aware of the issue and stated that it is the result of the enormous amount of election related mail that they are processing daily.

We will not be assessing any late fees during this time due to the uncertainty of delivery times we are encountering with the USPS.

If you find you have not received your bill, there are options available for you to obtain a copy:

  • VIEW YOUR BILL ONLINE
    • Your utilities bill is always available to view and print on the township website by choosing the VIEW MY UTILITIES ACCOUNT under the HOW DO I option at the top of the home page of the website.
  • SIGN UP FOR PAPERLESS BILLING
    • You can now have your bill emailed to you each quarter instead of receiving a hard copy in the mail. Email utilities@pittsfield-mi.gov and ask for paperless billing. You will receive a confirmation once the account has been updated.
  • GIVE US A CALL
    • You can contact our utilities office at 734.822.3105 and we would be happy to assist you.
