
Responsibilities
The Pittsfield Township Fire Department covers an area of approximately 27 square miles. We respond to more than 2,500 calls for service annually. We provide fire suppression, emergency medical services, and fire prevention services to the citizens and visitors of Pittsfield Township. The area served by the fire department is comprised of residential, rural, commercial, and industrial areas. We also cover Ann Arbor Airport and portions of I-94 and U.S. 23, including the I-94 and U.S. 23 interchange and a stretch of U.S.12.
Mission
The Pittsfield Township Fire Department will actively participate in our community, serve as role models, and strive to effectively and efficiently utilize all of the necessary resources to provide a quality of service deemed excellent by our citizens with "Courage, Integrity, and Honor."
