NOTICE: Please be advised that the Pittsfield Township Clerk will be in the office to register qualified electors and amend registration records on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

The General Election is being held to nominate candidates for the following:
Partisan: President and Vice President, U.S. Representative in Congress, State Representative, Members of the State Board of Education, Members of the University of Michigan Board of Regents, Members of the Michigan State University Board of Trustees, Members of the Wayne State University Board of Governors, Washtenaw County Prosecuting Attorney, Washtenaw County Sheriff, Washtenaw County Clerk/Register of Deeds, Washtenaw County Treasurer, Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner, Washtenaw County Commissioners, Pittsfield Township Supervisor, Pittsfield Township Clerk, Pittsfield Township Treasurer, Pittsfield Township Trustees, Pittsfield Township Park Commissioners.
Non-Partisan: Justice of the Supreme Court, Judge of the Court of Appeals, Judge of the Circuit Court, Judge of the District Court, Washtenaw Community College Board of Trustees, Ann Arbor School Board Members, Milan Area School Board Members, Saline Area School Board Members, Ann Arbor District Library Board Members.
Also, to vote on the following propositions:
• WASHTENAW COUNTY PROPOSITION to authorize the levying of .50 mills to provide funding to maintain, reconstruct, resurface, or preserve roads, bike lanes, streets, and paths.
• WASHTENAW COUNTY PROPOSITION to increase the tax limitation for the County Department of Veterans Affairs for the purpose of funding Washtenaw County’s obligation to provide financial relief and services for Washtenaw County Veterans, including the payment of eligible indigent veteran claims, and to fund the operation of the Washtenaw County Department of Veterans Affairs.
• REGIONAL TRANSIT AUTHORITY OF SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN a proposal authorizing the Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan (RTA) to Levy an Assessment. 1.20 Mills for 20 years.
