NOTICE OF HEARING
ON SPECIAL ASSESSMENT
BY THE TOWNSHIP BOARD OF PITTSFIELD CHARTER TOWNSHIP
TO: ALL OWNERS OF OR PARTIES WITH AN INTEREST IN PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE VALLEY RANCH BUSINESS PARK, FOX POINTE CONDOMINIUMS OR ADJACENT PARCELS, LOTS BEARING PARCEL ID NUMBERS (L-12- 08)/310-008 through 310-015 and 305-001, 305-002, 305-003, 305-006, 305-007, 305-016, 305-019, 305-020, 305-800, 300-010, 300-015, 300-016, 300-017, 300-019, 300-020, 300-021, 310-019, 310-023, 310-024, 310-025, 310-026, 310-027, 310-028, 270-001 to 270-076.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Township Board of Pittsfield Charter Township has declared its intention to expand an existing special assessment districts within the Valley Ranch Business Park, by including adjacent parcels and parcels within the Fox Pointe Condominium and has tentatively designated the special assessment district against which the operating cost of all street lighting is to be assessed as consisting of parcels with the following property identification numbers:
(L-12- 08)/310-008 through 310-015 and 305-001, 305-002, 305-003, 305-006, 305-007, 305-016, 305-019, 305-020, 305-800, 300-010, 300-015, 300-016, 300-017, 300-019, 300-020, 300-021, 310-019, 310-023, 310-024, 310-025, 310-026, 310-027, 310-028, (270-001 to 270-076). Proposed plans and estimates for said street lighting have been prepared by DTE Energy and are on file with the Township Clerk for public examination.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Township Board will meet on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Township Administration Building located at 6201 W. Michigan Ave., for the purpose of hearing any objections, which may be offered against creating the district, defraying the operating expenses thereof by special assessment, and setting the special assessment district tax roll commencing in 2017.
This notice is in compliance with PA 267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meetings Act), MCL 42.7 (Charter Township Act), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The Pittsfield Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting or public hearing upon three (3) business days’ notice to the Pittsfield Township Board.
