[ARCHIVED] Ann Arbor-Saline Lane Closures & Detour, Stage 2

The Ann Arbor-Saline Road Improvements project is scheduled to begin Stage 2 of the project after 9am on Friday June 6, 2014.

During Stage 2 of the project, the southbound lanes of Ann Arbor-Saline Road between the Northbrook Drive/Oakbrook Drive intersection and I-94 will remain closed. Southbound traffic will continue to use the signed detour route of Main Street, Eisenhower Parkway, State Street, Ellsworth Road, Lohr Road, and Oak Valley Drive. The northbound lanes of Ann Arbor-Saline Road will now also be closed between the eastbound I-94 on ramp and Eisenhower Parkways. The posted detour for northbound Ann Arbor-Saline Road will be to use the signed detour route of eastbound I-94, State Street, Eisenhower Parkway, and Main Street. Attached is the Stage 2 detour map for detouring both northbound and southbound traffic.

Additionally, the middle portion of the Waters Road/Lohr Road and Ann Arbor-Saline Road intersection will be closed. Westbound Lohr Road traffic must turn northbound on Ann Arbor-Saline Road and Eastbound Waters Road traffic must turn southbound on Ann Arbor-Saline Road.

Please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through the work zone in order to maintain the safety of the road crews and the traveling public. The Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as these improvements are completed.

Please contact Matt MacDonell, WCRC Assistant Director of Engineering at 734.327.6688 or macdonellm@wcroads.org if you have questions or concerns in regards to the project.
