NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a regular meeting of the Pittsfield Township Planning Commission will be held at the Pittsfield Township Administration Building located at 6201 W. Michigan Avenue, Ann Arbor, Michigan on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at 6:30 p.m.

At this meeting, the Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing and consider the application by Aldi Food Market for a Wetland Permit.  The total impact to onsite wetlands is 0.12 acres.  The applicant proposes to mitigate the required 0.18 acres onsite. The wetland impact is due to the construction of a /-22,000 square foot proposed grocery store, and associated parking lot.

ALDI is proposing a land division to create proposed outlot from the Miles of Golf site.  The newly created outlot will be located in the southwest corner of the site, and align with the existing traffic signal at the entrance to Home Depot and Kroger.  The parent, unsplit parcel, is located on 3113 Carpenter Road, Ypsilanti, MI 48197, tax parcel L -12-12-200-014 Section 12, Pittsfield Charter Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan.

A legal description for the parcel and proposed plans for activity in a wetland located on this property are available for review on the Township website on the Legal Notices page or at the Pittsfield Charter Township Administration Building, in the Planning Department office, and may be examined until the date of hearing, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Any person or representative having interest in said Wetland Permit shall then and there be heard at such meeting or subsequent meeting(s) at which the Wetland Permit is considered.

If necessary, reasonable auxiliary aids and services can be provided at the meeting to individuals with disabilities, by contacting the Clerk’s Office at the above address or at (734) 822-3120 at least three days in advance.
