Washtenaw County Road Commission's (WCRC) street sweeping contractor will begin the final round of local road street sweeping starting Tuesday, September 11th and primary road street sweeping the week of September 17th. The contractor is allowed to sweep primary roads at any time of day or night, but they are typically done during lower congested times. Night sweeping on local and subdivision streets is not permitted.

Given the information above here is the best schedule the WCRC has at this time for the upcoming sweeping –

The final round of local road street sweeping will begin on September 11th and end on September 13th in Ypsilanti Township and then move to Pittsfield Township upon completion of Ypsilanti. After completion of Pittsfield they will work into Northfield and continue through the other townships. We do not have an end date for Pittsfield at this time or a start/end date for Northfield. Monday, September 17th the local roads should be complete and the primaries will start.
