WCRC: Paving & Pathway Work Continues on Textile Road between Campbell Road and Platt Road

The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) hopes to pave the pathway alongside Textile Road during the last week of July. Once the pathway has been paved, Textile Road will be paved with the final layer of asphalt. After all the paving has been completed, there will some soft surface restoration work and other punch list items (pavement markings, signs, etc.) to complete before Textile Road can be reopened to traffic.

The WCRC expects the project to be completed and the road reopened by early August. As a reminder, Textile Road remains closed to ALL traffic from the Thomas Road intersection to just west of Platt Road in Pittsfield Township. We know it has taken a long time to get to this point and we really appreciate your patience.

If you have any questions concerning this work, please contact Mark McCulloch of the WCRC at 734.327.6679, or via email at
