WCRC: Road Resurfacing Project on Waters Rd between Gallinger Dr and Oak Valley Dr to Begin July 27

On Monday, July 27 the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin a road resurfacing project on Waters Road between Gallinger Drive and Oak Valley Drive.

The road will not be closed to traffic, but significant delays are likely due to lane restrictions. The WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services, and others to use an alternate route if possible.

The road improvements are expected to take approximately two weeks. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.

There will be intermittent sidewalk closures after the road resurfacing project has been completed to allow for ramp adjustments.

If you have any questions concerning this work, please contact James Hui, WCRC project manager, via phone at 734.327.6669 or via email at
