Notice of Registration for November 3, 2020 General Election

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that any qualified elector of the Township of Pittsfield, State of Michigan, who is not already registered, may register to vote at the office of the Township Clerk, the office of the County Clerk, a Secretary of State branch office, or other designated state agency. Voters who are already registered may update their registration at

The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk is Monday, October 19, 2020.

After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.492) at the Pittsfield Charter Township Clerk’s Office, located at 6201 W. Michigan Avenue, Ann Arbor, MI 48108 at the following times:

  • Regular business hours: Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The General Election is being held for the purpose of electing candidates for the Offices of President of the United States; Vice President of the United States; United States Senator; United States Representative; State Legislature Representative; Member of the State Board of Education; Regent of the University of Michigan; Trustee of Michigan State University; Governor of Wayne State University; the County Offices of Prosecuting Attorney, Sheriff, Clerk and Register of Deeds, Treasurer, Water Resources Commissioner, County Commissioner; Local Township Offices of Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, Trustee, Park Commissioner; Circuit Court Judge; Justice of the Supreme Court; Court of Appeals Judge; Probate Court Judge; District Court Judge and to vote on the following Proposals:

  • STATE PROPOSAL 2020-1 a proposed constitutional amendment to allow money from oil and gas mining on state-owned lands to continue to be collected in state funds for land protection and creation and maintenance of parks, nature areas, and public recreation facilities; and to describe how money in those state funds can be spent
  • STATE PROPOSAL 2020-2 a proposed constitutional amendment to require a search warrant in order to access a person’s electronic data or electronic communications
  • WASHTENAW COUNTY PROPOSITION to Authorize the Renewal and Restoration of a .25-Mill for the Purpose of Purchasing Natural Areas in Order to Preserve them, Paying the Costs of Operating a Land Preservation Program and Paying the Costs of Maintaining the Land Purchased
