US-12 / US-23 Bridge and Interchange Project Update for the week of 7/17/23
US-23
- On Northbound US-23, 2 lanes will be maintained utilizing the outside shoulder and right lane.
- On Southbound US-23, 2 lanes will be maintained, 1 local lane (for ramp access) and 1 express lane utilizing inside median lane of Northbound US-23.
US-12 INTERCHANGE
- 1 lane per direction shall be maintained on northern section of US-12 through mid-July
- Bridge construction continues at US-12 bridge
- The US-12 entrance to Southbound US-23 will be closed for ramp terminal construction. It is expected to open during by the end of the week. The posted detour is to take Platt to Willis ramp to Southbound US-23
- The Northbound US-23 exit ramp to US-12 will be closed for ramp terminal construction. It is expected to open during by the end of the week. The posted detour is US-23 to Eastbound I-94 to US-12.
