[ARCHIVED] Summer 16 Employment Program Connects Local Businesses To Youth Employees

Looking to hire youth between 16 and 24 for summer work? Be it seasonal work, summer internship or other limited term work for youth - the Summer 16 program can help you find the right candidate for your needs!

Summer 16 is a new youth employment program designed to connect youth to businesses for summer employment and mentoring support. The 11 week program will run from Jun 20 to Sept. 2.

Businesses commit to:

- Providing a job for 20 hours a week for 11 weeks
- Mentoring youth during the 11 week program

Youth, aged 16-24, commit to:

- Completing the Soft Skills Academy
- Meeting basic eligibility requirements
