The Pittsfield Township Farmers Market is now open every Thursday from 3 - 7 PM @ Platt & Michigan Avenue, rain or shine! The Market will be open from June - September.

Highlights for the 2016 season include:

• Ann Arbor chalk artist, David Zinn
• Cooking Demos with Chef Kristi
• Leslie Science Center
• Market Kids can make a craft and play I SPY a frog
• A Master Gardener will answer your lawn and garden questions
• The Saline Fiddlers & live local music weekly


New this season, beginning monthly on June 9, a Master Gardener will be on site to answer all your lawn and garden questions! There will also be information on topics such as: container gardening, vegetable garden fertilizer and pests, native plants and butterflies, and dividing perennials. A perennial exchange is planned for the last two weeks in September. Pick up a Master Gardener schedule on Market Day.

Returning Michigan growers and producers this season include:
Bow Wow K9 Tasty Treats (dog treats), Celtic Dairy (goats milk soap & personal care items), Classique Gifts & Bakes (traditional, gluten-free, vegan, sugar-free baked goods), Ed’s Bread (baked goods), J.C.L Paradise Ranch (farm eggs, maple syrup), Kapnick Orchards (fruit, baked goods), Makielski Berry Farm (raw honey, honeycomb, jam), Nemeth’s Greenhouse & Farms (potted plants, produce), Prochaska Farms (potted plants, vegetable & herb plants, produce), Sansonetti Sauces (BBQ sauces, marinades, dressings, mustards), South Asian Flavors (raita savory yogurt), The Pasta Shop (dry and frozen stuffed pasta, sauce), Top Dog Hotdog (hotdogs & Polish dogs) and Vizzion candles (soy candles and beeswax lip balm).

New local vendors include:
Needle Lane Farms (produce, flowers grown without pesticides), Steinhauser Farms (pasture raised beef and pork, chicken, garlic), Stix, Stones and Succulents (potted succulents) and Laila Kujala Studio (fairy doors, cards).

Food Assistance will be accepted at the Pittsfield Township Farmers Market. Bridge Card users can purchase tokens at the Market information tent and have the opportunity to double food dollars through the Double Up Food Bucks Program. New this year, the Pittsfield Township Farmers Market will be participating in the Prescription for Health Program. Visit the Market Information tent for details!
